To play Light Bot, you utilize a simple drag-and-drop interface to arrange command icons on a program frame. These commands dictate the robot's actions, such as moving forward, turning, jumping, or activating tiles. As you progress, you'll employ basic programming techniques like sequencing commands and employing reusable blocks of code, known as functions, to perform repetitive tasks more efficiently. The gameplay revolves around strategically placing these commands in the Main Method panel and two additional function panels to navigate the robot through increasingly complex maps. The Main Method acts as your primary command list, with a limit of 12 slots, encouraging you to think critically about each step you program. For actions that need to be repeated, you can use Function 1 and Function 2 panels, each allowing you to store and repeatedly invoke up to 8 commands, thereby introducing the concept of functions in programming.
